Job Details:
SENIOR FORENSIC CONSULTANT / ARCHITECT / ENGINEER
Well-respected Engineering and Architecture firm in Metro NYC seeks an experienced senior level Forensic Consultant / Engineer and/or Architect to join company in a full-time or part-time role. Must be comfortable in lead role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct forensic investigations both commercial and residential determining cause, origin and extent of damages and system failures
- Investigate and assess damages from natural catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricane and floods
- provide forensic reports outline cause and origin to clients
- local inspections of homes and roofs required
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Architecture or Engineering / Masters Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience and at least 1 year of forensic engineering
- Experience working with law firms and insurance companies
- Analytic and field inspection skills required
- PE or RA license required
