Job Details:
Data Software Engineer
Growing technology driven company is expanding its engineering group and hiring a Data Engineer. Qualified candidates will have similar experience to the following:
Experience with Java and related open source ecosystem
Experience with scalable RESTful web services using modern frameworks such as DropWizard or Spring Boot
Experience with SQL
You are proficient in Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Hive, shell scripting and working in a Linux environment
You are familiar with Git/Stash, Maven, Jenkins
You have exposure to NoSQL data stores such as HBase, Cassandra
Bonus technologies:
Background in search engines, information retrieval, and ideally experience with Lucene or Solr
Experience with building/deploying web services and data pipelines in AWS
Knowledge of graph theory, GIS and/or geospatial analysis
This is a full time position offering a base salary, bonus, and 401K match.
