ROBOTICS ENGINEER - FANUC CONTROLS
Well respected Manufacturer seeks experienced Robotics Engineer with direct FANUC Controls experience to join team. Must have direct Robotics Engineering experience specializing in FANUC Controls. This is an excellent opportunity to join a premier Manufacturer. Opportunity to grow with company. Must be open to 50% travel.
Essential Duties:
- Read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints;
- Understand and support robotic programming (FANUC) and understand and support motor drive configuration for servo variable frequency and DC systems;
- Specify ancillary robotic welding equipment;
- PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge in safety controls
- Setting up new machinery to run with multiple software platforms
Qualifications/Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or five years plus related experience and training; or and equivalent combination of education and experience
- Electrical print reading and repair knowledge
- PLC Programming
- Touchscreen HMI
- Microsoft Excel, Word
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Natural problem solver
- Self-starter and ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to learn, understand and apply corporate standards for equipment and tooling
- High level of cooperation and commitment
- Adaptive to a fast paced environment
- Hands on mentality
