Senior Medical Writer
Medical Communications –Healthcare Communications
An excellent healthcare communications client of ours is actively seeking a Senior Medical Writer for a full time permanent staff opportunity.
Qualified applicants will have experience developing scientific content within a medical communications company. This position will provide QA/QC, of junior writers, development of editorial content, and maintain the scientific integrity of all medical communication deliverables produced for assigned client(s)/account(s).

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to understand and convey marketing strategy in scientific communications
- Work with faculty in regards to content development and scientific accuracy
- Provide high quality scientific and medical content
- Develops educational materials and slide presentations to explain scientific concepts to a variety of audiences in the health care industry
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will have regular interaction with clients as well as internal staff
- Excellent time management& multitasking
Qualifications:
- PhD, MD, Pharm D advanced degree
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a Healthcare Communications, Medical Education, Publication Planning, Medical Communications company environment
- Any therapeutic experience considered
- Understanding of AMA guidelines
- Any mentoring, junior staff management experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity & interest in pharmaceutical marketing
- Ability to work both independent and as part of the team
