SENIOR ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR
Upstate New York electrical construction contractor needs Senior Electrical PM/Estimator.
Due to growth, my client is searching for a Sr. Electrical Project Manager / Estimator for their office North of New York City. In this role you will create electrical estimates in AccuBid for projects of $100K - $5 million and manage the installation from inception to final hand-off.
This is an ideal position for you if you have the following:
10+ years of experience in electrical project management and estimating projects of $100K- $5 million or more in AccuBid
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to speak professionally to stakeholders as well as field level professionals

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimating:
Prepare and coordinate full cost estimates for design-building and bid-spec work
Review proposal specifics and drawings to determine the scope of work and required estimate contents
Ensure that quotes prepared are of high accuracy and reliability
Provide details that allow estimates to land within 5% of targeted competitor bids
Verify all data in the AccuBid database and maintain the information in the quotation sheet
Project Management:
Plan a construction project and prepare a project schedule from inception to final hand-off
Process contract drawings and specifications and ensure that the project is built to specs
Meet with Owners, General Contractor and others in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively
Oversee regular, scheduled, and accurate reporting to facilitate prompt billings and subcontractor invoices
Ensure that the project is in a positive cash flow position and prepare project manager reports
Maintains continuous communication with the client to pre-sell the monthly draw, enabling enhanced billing and prompt, undisputed payments.
Requirements
10+ years of successful electrical construction project management and estimating experience
Previous AccuBid expertise in developing electrical estimates
Solid understanding of national electrical code requirements
