Industrial IT Network Engineer
Renowned Automation Systems Integrator seeks an Industrial IT Engineer to set up brand new redundant networks from scratch:
KEY: Tech or engineer with experience setting up servers & LAN’s from scratch.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Networking/Engineering or related
- Developing network architecture for Industrial HVAC projects; Purchase, install, and test the network
- Providing & developing network architecture & support for the team’s development lab
- Software Factory Acceptance Test (SFAT)
- Ability to use and understand software such as Kepware, WIN911
- Understanding of industrial PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s
- Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
- Experience with industrial control systems such as PLC’s, variable speed drives, HMI/SCADA platforms (Rockwell ControLogix & FactoryTalk View)
- Fiber, routers, switches, servers with virtualization (VMWare)
- constructing VMWare servers, switches, fiber ring networks, OPC Communications, etc
- Cisco CCENT, CompTIA Network+, VMware VCA6-DCV certifications favorable
- Networking, TCP/IP, structured cabling , experience with server environments and working in both wired and wireless networking environment
- Experience in Data Centers, Central Plant Utilities, Cogen Plants, Combined Cooling, Heating & Power preferred
- Industrial HVAC, central plant industry experience preferred
- Ability to travel 30-60%
- Client interaction skills
