Primary Responsibilities:
Currently searching for an experienced engineer to serve as a project manager for stormwater-related projects in our Dallas Office. Applicant should be able to manage and perform routine to complex engineering work related to stormwater modeling and design that requires application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Applicant must have experience with hydrology and hydraulic analysis and design software as follows:
Civil 3D or Microstation, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoHMS, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-RAS 2D, XP-SWMM or Infoworks, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with the preparation of design plans, technical specifications, and opinion of probable construction costs of closed systems, open channels, culverts and bridges, and detention ponds is required. Experience with the design and analysis of roadway drainage for municipal and TXDOT projects is required.
Applicant must be able to communicate clearly through strong technical writing as well as in verbal situations such as meetings and public presentations. Applicant must work well in a team environment and be able to address multiple concurrent priorities successfully. Applicant must be willing to interface with clients and develop strong working relationships through project interaction. Applicant will have the opportunity to participate and lead proposals and business development activities.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and at least seven years of relevant experience in Stormwater Engineering. Applicant must be a Registered Professional within the State of Texas or able to become registered within one month of starting.
