Job Details:
Electrical Design Engineer
Connecticut based architecture & engineering firm has an immediate need for an Electrical Design Engineer.
Successful candidates for the Electrical Design Engineer role should have the ability to use AutoCAD for system layout and spatial coordination of production of detailed drawings. Someone who exhibits a basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principals to our building designs would be a good fit for this dynamic role.
Additional requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited Institution
Experience ranging from 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the MEP field
Current E.I.T. certification, highly preferred
Latest version of AutoCAD ME and REVIT is required
Proficient in design and calculation software
Possesses basic understanding of proper system selection
Exhibits thorough understanding of applicable codes
Demonstrates ability to understand the work of other trades
