Job Details:
Controls Systems Network Engineer will be responsible for the development and implementation of control systems, networks, and computing systems. This will include the physical setup of network devices, cabling, and other infrastructure. Virtual systems will include the conversion of physical computers, virtual computer development, and server-based architectures. Control systems will include operator interfaces, PLC's, DCS's, software, data collection, and security.

Network device installation/configuration & maintenance
Supports both internal and external customers
Requires
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering Technology and/or Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Control systems development experience
Familiarity with switch and/or router set-up; firewalls, Cisco IOS or similar, Layer 3 devices
Experience in the creation and support of SQL queries and data manipulation
Experience in Microsoft Server Environments including Active Directory and Exchange 2007 or newer
PLC, HMI, and DCS design and implementation experience
Skills
Ethernet Networking Fundamentals
Rockwell Cisco Industrial Network Specialist (IMINS) certification
Cisco Network Administrator (CNA) certification
Key words – Controls Systems Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, Industrial Controls, Cisco Engineer, Network Engineer, Ethernet Networking Fundamentals, Rockwell Cisco Industrial Network Specialist (IMINS) certification, Cisco Network Administrator (CNA) certification. Bio-tech, pharma, medical device industries experience is a plus. Food and beverage, packaging, chemicals industries and/or other industries welcomed.
This position requires a B.S. Engineering and/or other technical degree or work experience. US Citizenship, Perm Resident, Green Card, etc. Biotech facilities and equipment – batch processing, bioreactors, mixing tanks, clean utilities, filtration systems, piping and instrumentation (P&ID) experience is a plus.
