Job Details:
The Instructional Designer develops, implements and delivers instructional experiences which make the acquisition of knowledge and skill more efficient, effective, and appealing. Determines the state and needs of associates, define the end goal of instruction, and implements training material. Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback.
Qualifications: •Master’s degree in adult learning & development preferred or general and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
•4 years of related experience with 4 years of related experience in designing, developing, and delivering training using technology such as eLearning, virtual learning, video learning
•Experience with Learning Management Software, Cornerstone preferred, and WebEx and virtual learning course design
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with members, management and other credit union personnel
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
•High degree of organizational/planning skills and is detail-oriented, able to multitask effectively and quickly adapt to changing directions. Is able to be self-directed
•Competent presentation/delivery skills and the ability to think spontaneously
•Sufficient manual dexterity for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher), Articulate, and Camtasia knowledge
•Familiar with Infomapping philosophy
•Ability to stand for extended periods of time, travel to various locations ( must have dependable transportation) and ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
•Advanced analytical skills

•Ability to take abstract concepts and develop training programs/materials
