Project Controls Cost Engineer
Role:
As a Cost Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing cost control information for a portfolio of projects including project cost control principles, methodologies, forecasting, reporting, risk management, project execution, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Understand project cost and schedule metrics in order to review and develop validation reports for major projects across the Americas.
- Work with Product Lines, Project Managers, and execution teams to deliver project estimates, forecasts, budgets, and strategies
- Create, develop, and maintain project schedules and structure; Collaborate with marketing, strategy, procurement, and construction in order to do so
- Understand and analyze different contract strategies to evaluate the impact of estimating, scheduling and project controls.
- Work with regional and global teams to ensure resource management/sharing, best practices, work processes, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineer. Master's is a plus
- Strong SAP skill set
- Prior experience within a manufacturing, industrial or chemical industry
- The ability to travel both domestically and international
