Food QA Technician - Food Production/Manufacturing (Quality / Safety) #foodjob
My client, a popular food/beverage company, is seeking a Technician for their Food Safety Department. QA/Safety Tech will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the SQF and HACCP Programs at the manufacturing facility.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree, BS in Food Science or related field preferred
- Experience in Food Safety systems
- 3+ years of experience with Quality programs, Food Safety, Sanitation or Regulatory field within the Food or Beverage Production industry
- Strong understanding of HACCP and SQF regulations, and sanitation practices
- Supervisory experience, Ability to lead a team, and work with multiple departments, managerial skills
- Experience with co-packing systems
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF and 5S Process
