Senior Windows Automation Engineer GPFS, Parallel Files Strong powershell and Build experience
JOB SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Automate systems using powershelll .
• Create additional automation by scripting repetitive tasks
• Participate in strategic projects
• Monitor productions systems, respond to and troubleshoot incidents
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
GPFS is a big plus
• Experienced systems engineer who has 7+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 CORE and NANO operating systems.
• Windows Advanced Troubleshooting 1000’s of servers
• ( Perfmon , WinDbg, DebugDiag, WinDBG, ProcMon, Process Explorer)
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows servers
• Experience with automated monitoring systems and technologies, with practical knowledge of MS SCOM , and SCCM , SCVMM and automated patching procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
• Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines
• Strong proficiency in managing DNS, DFS(R), DHCP, clustering
• Experience scripting in PowerShell
• Strong proficiency in Hyper-V
• Well-rounded knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VMPLS, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls, etc.)
