Senior Medical Writer – Associate Medical Director
Medical Communications – Healthcare Communications – Publication Planning
My client an excellent medical communications company in the local Philadelphia Suburbs is actively seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer or Associate Medical Director. This is a position for industry experienced professionals who have at least one (3) or more years of medical writing experience within a medical/healthcare communications or medical education company. Individuals at the Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer and Associate Medical Director level will all be considered and salary commensurate with experience. Individuals qualifying for this position will have the following qualifications:
- An advanced degree in the life sciences, PhD, MD or Pharm D degree is REQUIRED
- Hands on Medical writing experience: original and review manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, oral presentations, publication planning work, etc.
- MLR process experience
- All therapeutic areas considered
- Strong time and project management skills
- Knowledge of AMA writing style
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be interacting on a regular basis with staff, clients and industry professionals
- Experience working directly with pharmaceutical company medical personnel and key opinion leaders
- Excellent computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software
