Job Details:
One of the top heavy construction contractors in Manhattan is hiring Field Engineers 1-5 years’ experience working on MTA projects. Position is full time/permanent with medical, sick/vacation, paid mileage, and a ton of room for upward mobility.
Job Duties & Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Construction preferred.
- Experience working on MTA projects.
- Desire and passion to learn and work on heavy construction projects.
- Assist in preparing construction work plans.
- Coordinate the work schedule for subcontractors.
- Perform field surveys.
- Perform concrete surveys under deck, columns, and trussmembers.
- Prepare requisitions, trend sheets, and review reports.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
