Seeking an experienced Structural Engineer
Job Duties:
- Manage projects related to structural design
- Help create proposals and budgets
- Design for assigned projects
- Calculations and specifications
- Create designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Visit client/construction sites to monitor and over see work, and discuss questions/concerns with the client
- Preform structural investigations and inspections at client sites
- Maintain deadlines and budgets
- Commute with other company departments as needed
- Generate written reports
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of work experience as a Structural Engineer
- PE license or EIT tracking towards their PE
- Strong knowledge and understanding of industry codes, standards and regulations
- Structural experience with commercial buildings, bridges, monuments, etc.
- Understanding of structural construction
- Concrete experience
- Structural design experience using AutoCAD, Revit and other drafting software
- Ability to travel to client/construction sites extensively
- Strong communication and people skills
- Strong organizational skills
