Job Details:
C# Hardware Test Engineer
My client is searching for a Hardware Test Engineer. Developing test plans, setting up test scenarios and automated testing with scripting based on product requirements/parameters. Test results will be captured and communicated to management and engineering design teams as required by product needs. In developing tests for hardware, the work will include researching / specifying components, understanding schematic design and component capabilities while interfacing and collaborating with the design/engineering teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Qualified Candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of test experienceSoftware programming experience in C#
Working knowledge of digital control interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C or RS-232. Experience interfacing with microprocessors, memory and peripherals.
Hands on experience in design/troubleshoot/updating hardware.
Useful Skills:
Experience with Advanced Electronic Protection Techniques and Technology
Experience with Broadband/Multispectral Components and Systems
Experience with Modular/Open/Reconfigurable Architectures
Experience with Cognitive/Adaptive Capabilities
Experience with Distributed/Coordinated/Net-Enabled Systems
Experience with board level architecture, PCB design, implementation, and validation of hardware systems.
Experience developing automatic test systems
Strong hardware debugging skills and root-cause failure analysis.
Write and execute test plans; identify, create, test, and debug hardware solutions for product design verification.
Knowledge of analog and digital interfaces, High Speed board-level design
Software programming experience in C# or other languages a plus.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate
Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
