Job Details:
The Senior Enterprise Architect works with stakeholders, including program management, technical, functional and business process subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of an organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role of the Enterprise Architect is to take this knowledge and ensure that the organization’s business and Information Technology (IT) systems are in alignment. The Enterprise Architect links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, and adaptable manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Lead the development of the enterprise framework and related artifacts, governance, and process
•Develop trust and build effective working relationships through respectful, collaborative engagement across business and IT
•Combine knowledge of the current state of enterprise systems, long-term IT organization strategy, and industry best practices to provide architecture roadmaps
•Create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable
•Track industry and application trends and relate these to planning current and future IT needs
•Identify and recommend areas appropriate for further study; participate in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption.
•Foster an innovative culture across IT with an eye toward agility, scalability and reliability
•Ensure that architecture principles and standards are consistently applied
•Provide technical and strategic input during the project planning phase in the form of technical architectural designs and recommendations
•Collaborate with all relevant parties in order to review the objectives and constraints of solutions and determine conformance with the EA
•Identify implementation risks and potential impacts

QUALIFICATIONS
•Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
•Professional Experience : Minimum ten years of experience in design, development, administration, troubleshooting of applications, and two years experience as an Architect or related position.
•Strong technical capabilities and aptitude
•Strong knowledge of application development concepts and practices.
