Quality Manager

SUMMARY: 
The quality manager will serve as the management representative and maintain the ISO. The QM role will ensure all product meets customer requirements and be responsible for resolving customer complaints. The QM will be responsible for managing and scheduling of both internal & external audit activities. The QM will need to work directly with the program management team to determine customer flow down requirements and resolve any issues that arise during the contract review process.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Implement and maintain and effective quality management system.
• Maintain all ISO requirements.
• Implement and manage future industry standards 
• Work with Program Management on understanding and implement customer requirements and ensuring the proper controls are in place to prevent customer complaints.
• Work with Quality Control lead on day to day activities including scheduling of jobs, FAI, NCR, and guidance on inspection practices.
• Responsible for documentation control, CAPA, NCR, Internal Audits, MRB, calibration, RMAs and overseeing the maintenance of the quality management system.
• Work directly with customers on qualification processes such as IQ, OQ, PQ, PPAP, APQP, and control plans.
• Use root cause analysis tools 
• Create and establish company quality procedures, standards and specifications.
• Ensuring that all processes adhere to internal and external requirements.
• Look for ways to reduce waste, continual improvement, and increase efficiency.
• Work with other department leads/managers on implementing continual improvement activities, procedures, and training.
• Participate and provide data reports to management as required for management reviews.
• Ensures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and product safety requirements.
• Ensures that any changes made to internal databases such as FPRO and QA database are in compliance to ISO/AS and proper changes are made to internal procedures.
• Responsible for the duties of the management representative
• As the management representative you will have the responsibility, organizational freedom, unrestricted access to top management, and authority to: 
• Ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of this international standard._
• Ensuring that the processes are delivering the intended outputs.__
• Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement, in particular to top management.__
• Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.__
• Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented._
REQUIREMENTS: 
• 5-7 Years of quality management or 7-9 years of quality engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 
• Experience using tools such as PPAP, APQP, control plans
• Must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
• Knowledge in statistical tools such as Minitab a plus
• Knowledge in inspection practices 
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Must have superb organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
