Job Details:
Automation Engineer 3rd shift
Delivering successful control projects and exceptional customer service with regard to schedule, time, and budget
Contributing to project teams, providing help outside of controls scope when required
Understand customer standard operating procedures.
Analyze a running system using PLC code to determine the root cause of an issue.
Read and understand system drawings and design documents.
Create a technical evaluation and test plan using customer supplied templates.
Update system drawings and design documents to reflect modifications.
Execute a change control and associated test plan.
Desired Skills
Bachelors' of Engineering
Automation Controls Engineering with proficiency with Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley products and systems
PLC/HMI programming experience
Plan, design, hands-on and mechanical capabilities
Read and understand control system electrical drawings
Knowledge of User Requirements Specification (URS), Functional Specification (FS), and Software Design Specification (SDS)
Knowledge of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GaMP) is a plus
Knowledge of cGMP, GMP, FDA, etc. is a plus
MS Office, AutoCAD
Temporary housing is provided for relocation candidates.
This position requires a B.S. Engineering or other technical degree. US Citizenship or Green Card Holder. Automation systems integration, controls, engineering, familiarity with Biotech facilities and their equipment – bioreactors, mixing tanks, clean utilities, filtration systems, piping and instrumentation (P&ID). CIP is a plus. Allen-Bradley PLC’s, Rockwell Automation, PLC Code, Siemens S7 PLC, AutoCAD Electrical Design is a plus. Automation systems integration experience within a bioscience, pharmaceutical, medical device, food and beverage type industries and/or other manufacturing environments background is desired.
