Job Details:
Instrumentation & Electrical Designer
Automation Systems Integrator seeks:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; preferably electrical or industrial technology
- 6+ years designing electrical distribution systems for Oil & Gas, refining, pipeline facilities and bio-pharm plants
- Specific knowledge of the NEC to properly size and layout electrical distribution equipment and devices; single-line and double-line experience
- PLC, DCS systems layout/design
- Fieldbus layout & Network design
- Properly sizes motor feeders, motor starters, feeder breakers, MCC, transformers, circuit breakers and panels (120 volts through 5kV)
- Short circuit requirements, perform voltage drop calculations, connected load calculations.
- Assist in design of Controls and I/O requirements & design of site plan instrumentation layouts
- Cost estimating
- Client interaction skills
