Job Details:
Structural Engineer
Reputable Structural Engineering Firm in S. Jersey is looking for a Structural Engineer with Revit experience and preferably a PE who would like to quickly advance their career towards management. This is a growing firm who offers competitive wages with the opportunity for OT! Get paid for each hour you work!
- Assist and help manage projects related to structural design
- Help create proposals and budgets
- Design for assigned projects
- Calculations and specifications
- Create designs using RISA, RAM, Revit, and other design software
- Visit client/construction sites to monitor and over see work, and discuss questions/concerns with the client
- Preform structural investigations
- Maintain deadlines and budgets
- Commute with other company departments as needed
- Generate written reports
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of work experience as a Structural Engineer
- PE license or EIT tracking towards their PE
- Strong knowledge and understanding of industry codes, standards and regulations
- Structural experience with commercial, institutional, pharmaceutical, industrial projects
- Understanding of structural construction
- Structural design experience using AutoCAD, Revit and other drafting software
- Ability to travel to client/construction sites as needed
- Strong communication and people skills
- Strong organizational skills
