Job Details:
HVAC/R Technician - Boilers, Controls, Mechanic
- Troubleshoot and maintain heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for commercial, institutional and industrial customers
- Diagnoses diverse service issues of mechanical and electrical components, obtains replacement parts, calibrates system to manufacturer’s recommendations
- Travels to job sites in service area and works with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained
- Maintains good working order of company vehicles
- Maintains proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle
- Participates in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
- Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements and Competencies:
- Five+ years’ experience in service, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting diverse commercial, institutional and industrial customers HVAC systems required
- Experience working the one of the following: commercial HVAC Equipment, Boilers, Burners OR controls
- license desired or desire to obtain
- High School Degree/GED required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to promote the company’s value-added services like service agreements, comfort enhancements and high efficiency equipment upgrades
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with operating an iPad and cloud-based scheduling and work order systems preferred
