Senior Systems Engineer - Virtualization
Our Client located in Wilmington, DE is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Systems Engineer that will be responsible for the virtualization infrastructure of the cloud implementation. Position will include designing systems, reviewing and providing feedback on business requirements to leverage technology, and defining standards.
Qualificaitons
- 6+ years experience working with VMWare and Cisco UCS
- Must have experience implementing VMWare
- Recent experience working in a Mid-sized environment (3,000 servers+)
- Understanding of PowerSchell/PowerCLI Scripts
- Ability to design, architect and engineer virtualization and automation systems
- Understanding of incorporating Cloud Computing concepts into system design
- 5 years experience with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP Administration
- ITIL
- VEEAM Backup and Replication experience or equivalent backup platform
- 5+ years experience with VMWAre, Server Virtualization
- Certifications in one or more of the following VMWare Certified Professional (VCP, VCAP, VCIX), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Must have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship
