Job Details:
MEP – Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer - Midtown
- Preparation of Fire Sprinkler construction documents for buildings including drawings, specifications, and hydraulic calculation reports
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a Mechanical or Fire Protection Emphasis.
- Previous experience coordinating sprinkler system designs with Revit models.
- Previous fire alarm system design experience with a fire protection contractor or an MEP engineering consultant in addition to fire sprinkler system design experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, the Microsoft Office suite, and a fire sprinkler system design software such as AutoSPRINK, SprinkCAD, or HydraCAD
- Previous fire sprinkler system design and 3D coordination experience with a fire protection contractor or an MEP engineering consultant, and familiarity with related drawing, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
