Regional Sales Manager - South East Region
Job description
We are looking for an experienced High Energy sales person as a key addition to our growing North American Sales team. The right person will increase business from new and existing customers by identifying and qualifying opportunities, preparing quotations, managing sales processes, closing orders, and managing customer relationships. The role offers a unique opportunity for a self-starter to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, participate in a broad range of sales activities, while having a direct impact on our bottom line.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will spend most of your day:
· Hunting - Contacting, developing, and managing new and existing Datacolor customers to build a sales pipeline and drive revenue in the US Sales region as defined.
· Conducting face to face and webinar meetings and demonstrations of hardware and software color management products
· Identify customer requirements for solutions by:
1. Understanding customer application and need for accurate communication
2. Developing and proposing product solutions to fulfill customer needs
3. Qualifying leads from marketing or inside sales programs and developing them into opportunities and ultimately closing sales
4. Selling industrial solutions
5. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas
· Utilizing salesforce.com to build accurate business forecasts, track metrics, and increase territory productivity.
· Working closely with the Inside Sales Team, the marketing department, and management to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for high energy, innovative self-starters who has
· A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or …
· At least 5 years of relevant, strategic and technical “Capital Equipment” sales experience, in an outside sales role.
· Experience in establishing and executing on metrics to drive revenue and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
· A computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Excel and Word, as well as Salesforce.com, and GoToMeeting/WebEx.
Further consideration will be provided to those who:
· Proven track record of Capital Equipment sales to major industry
· Has experience conducting presentations to customers and senior level management.
· Demonstrates experience working in a team environment.
