DevOps Engineer
Growing Philly technology driven company is expanding again! This is a full time permanent position, with a talented team. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years with the following:
Linux, at scale.
Delivering Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service solutions using AWS and open source technologies such as Chef and Jenkins;
Managing source code and package repositories in GitHub.
Experience with databases – AWS RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift) and MongoDB.
Virtualization and automation solutions.
Have proven experience working with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management systems, CI/CD pipelines.
Have operational experience working with large, highly available, highly transactional systems on AWS.
Work independently and take initiative.
Have experience defining processes and standards, following industry best practices.
Have experience working with other engineering teams to accelerate software delivery.
Beneficial Experience
Containerization experience, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
Have experience with implementing, deploying, operating a big-data platform within an enterprise production environment.
Experience of any of the following programming languages – PHP, Python, Go!, JavaScript.
