SIEM - Security Engineer
Our client in Wilmington, DE is seeking a full-time, permanent Security Engineer with 4+ years experience in IT Security process and procedures including working with firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP and AV. This person must have a strong background in SIEM including setting rules and writing use cases; not just an end user. This is a full-time permanent position with room to grow.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience working in Information Security
- Must have SIEM experience – User Case Development, Setting Rules
- Must have experience with Vulnerability Management
- Vulnerability and Penetration testing
- 2+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
- Understanding of networking principles and design
- Experience working with Firewalls including but not limited to Cisco
- Certifications in Security+, CISA, GSEC, CISSP, CCNA, CCIE - preferred but not required
- Experience modifying security functionality and providing improvements
- QRadar or Splunk experience is a plus
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder no third parties
