Node.js Software Engineer
Expanding, established center city technology team is seeking to hire a Node.js Software Engineer. Qualified candidates will have the following experience.
Javascript/Node.js/Express
Designing and implementing RESTful web services
NoSQL database design and optimization (DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)
Search Engine technologies (Elasticsearch, Lucene, etc.)
Distributed architectures utilizing asynchronous programming and microservices
Real-time services (PubNub, Ably, etc.) and/or message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ)
Functional programming techniques that avoid mutable state
Test driven development, including unit tests, integration tests, and mocking frameworks
The ideal candidate will also be experienced and/or interested in:
Additional dynamic and/or loosely-typed scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.)
Agile development processes with iterative releases
Containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
General DevOps (automation, continuous integration, etc.)
Headless Linux environments
Learning/implementing multiple programming languages
