Systems Sales

A qualified candidate will be a proven leader in the field of material handling system sales with an existing client base, an excellent professional reputation, proven sales history, and a desire to help clients solve problems through solution selling. System sales executives manage their existing client base and are responsible for new account development as well.

Are you and experienced System Consultant in Warehouse Automation who has successfully designed and closed multimillion dollar transactions but who is most importantly driven to deliver your promises to your clients and ensure nothing but their satisfaction?

Overview:

This position is ideal for a person who wants to serve existing client partners and serve to cultivate new customer relationships through active participation in trade groups and other activities.  The ideal candidate has a technical background and has the ability to sell complex solutions that involve material handling technologies such as AS/RS, robotics, conveyors, sortation systems, pick systems, but most importantly the software solutions that drive them including Warehouse Execution.

Objectives:

  • Ability to build rapport and trust by demonstrating integrity at all times and outworking the competition
  • Asking the right questions to understand the answers that will shape the right concept
  • Data analysis capabilities to ask questions of the data to deepen the understanding of a customers business so that the right solution can be shaped
  • Providing engineers with accurate information and data so that the correct concept can jointly be developed which will address the customers pain points
  • Strong communication and presentation skills so that our solution can be explained clearly and any questions addressed fully to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Negotiating skills and conflict resolution ability skills that always result in win/wins so that customers remain “customers for life” and are given what they were promised

Qualifications & Duties:

  • Proven track record as a System Sales Person of Order Fulfilment solutions
  • BS in Engineering or MBA a plus
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required
  • Ongoing business development  
  • Maintain current pipeline and activity forecast weekly in CRM
