Audit Supervisor

Role:
The Audit Supervisor will support the execution of the department’s annual audit plan and other advisory-related activities by leading audit and advisory engagements with support from the IA staff & seniors. This role is responsible for managing a team of two, maintaining relationships with and providing advice to the organization's process owners. The Audit Supervisor is also responsible for planning, executing and documenting testing results as well as drafting audit reports, as well as expected to work closely with the IT Auditors to ensure collaboration and exchange of ideas to ensure audits are done with IT audit considerations in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the annual Internal Audit Plan as directed by Internal Audit management. For each audits or advisory related activities, responsibilities include:
- Lead the audit/advisory engagements by determining the preliminary scope of the audit/advisory engagements as well as the audit program
- Plan, execute and document testing results. Review testing performed by staff/senior auditors as appropriate
- Ensure established milestones are met
- Ensure compliance by determining whether key controls and processes are properly designed and operating effectively to mitigate the identified risk(s)
- Evaluate internal control issues to ensure that root causes are identified
- Lead audit closing meetings and communicate the results of testing in a clear and concise manner to management
- Prepare draft audit reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years of prior Audit experience either from a large public accounting firm or large multinational corporation.
- CPA is Preferred. (Progress towards a CPA is will be considered); Other certifications would be considered - CIA
