Job Details:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager with experience and a machine shop manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Meet with clients to determine specifics wants and needs
- Create blueprints and designs for shop floor personnel to follow
- Maintain budgets and timelines
- Order materials as needed
- Be present on the shop floor to monitor and help with work
- Work with the quality department to make sure projects meet quality standards
- Conduct meetings with upper level management to give status updates and reports
- Keep in communication with clients on the progress of the project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineer preferred
- 5 or more years work experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment
- Experience working on custom projects from start to finish (This is NOT a production shop environment. Lean and Six Sigma principals DO NOT apply to this position)
- Experience with Machining and Fabrication
- Design experience (Solidworks & Autocad preferred)
- Project management experience
- Strong computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
