Job Details:
My client is looking for an HVAC and Plumbing oriented Project Manager for a growing mechanical contractor. The candidate will provide overall management direction for a project or group of projects. Perform project management by processing project documents and information, monitoring and accurately projecting job costs, maintaining billings, schedules and providing technical support and leadership to the field management team. Provide oversight and direction to ensure the success of the project’s Field Management staff on the day-to-day activities of assigned projects. Develops and maintains customer relationships to foster better communications and develop opportunities future work. Works independently, but follows specific guidelines, procedures and policies. Makes independent and significant judgments related to project and contractual issues. Responsible for mentoring and training Assistant Project Manager(s) to ensure that they are given the opportunity to provide optimal project support while helping them grow and succeed at their career goals. Assumes the role of chief advocate and main key for success on the project(s) assigned. Perform ancillary duties as required or assigned.
