Job Details:
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for handling all means of customer communications to completely and accurately manage every aspect of the customer’s purchase order life cycle to the highest level of customer satisfactions.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Ability to find and understand customer needs and translate that into growth opportunities
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Experience working with a CRM
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, and Microsoft applications
- Understanding of the production system and limitations at the plants
- Ability to communicate:
- In a professional manner, both written and orally, with suppliers, customers, and individuals at all levels of the organization
- As a member of a team, including, motivating team members, promoting a strong team spirit, and creating loyalty among members
- Strong listening skills
- Organizational and prioritization skills for efficient task completion

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years experience working in a related technical service or sales capacity in the chemical industry
- Proven ability to interface with both internal and external customers
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proven initiative and reliable decision-making skills
