Job Details:
My client is the union electrical contractor of record on a high profile gas to electric project. They need an Electrical Project Manager to lead critical gas combustion power project by focusing on all requirements including scheduling, engineering, planning, field production and budgets.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Management of all project budgets and costs, including cost tracking and reporting to senior management.
• Maintain thorough understanding of contract and contractual language
• Maintain extensive client contact
• Be Responsible for invoice submission and project cash flow
• Estimating /change order management
• Track and Order material in conjunction with purchasing staff
• Cable and Conduit Database implementation
• Support Field Forces and track installation production
• Work in a team environment and coordinate with Superintendent, Division Director, and Senior Management to meet objectives for growth.
• Review engineering layouts and direct engineering staff
• Implement and attend project meetings
Qualifications
• Highly motivated team player
• Ability to travel and work on location
• Previous Power Plant Experience a Must
• Must possess 5-10 years of electrical experience working for an electrical contractor
• Excellent communication skills
