Jr. to Mid. Level SQL Server Database Developer
Our client has an immediate opening for a talented, energetic, independent Jr. to Mid. Level SQL Server Database Developer with strong skills in database design, reporting and analytics to support online software services, including data management system, and our state-of-the-art Platform for managing compliance and organizing resource data and information. Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of experience with:
Database tuning, monitoring, and query optimization
Creating and modifying tables, views, and functions
Developing stored procedures and using dynamic SQL
Report writing best practices
Importing data into SQL databases
Developing and implementing database security policies
Using SQL data warehouses
Keeping objects and schemas consistent across multiple databases and servers
Knowledge of SQL Spatial Objects not required, but preferred
Other Requirements:
Ability to follow and fix data intensive business applications
Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule
Ability to deliver quality work on time
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong collaboration skills
Experience
At least 2 years of professional software product development experience working in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
Education
B.S. Computer Science (or equivalent) or higher
