PROJECT CIVIL ENGINEER ( GEOTECHNICAL )
READING, PA
My reputable client located in the Reading, Pennsylvania area is seeking a talented Civil/Geotechnical Engineer. Qualified candidate must be a degreed Engineer with 8-15 years' experience working on civil or geotechnical projects. Position can lead to potential partial ownership. Requirements and responsibilities are listed below:
- BS in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering
- 8+ years' experience in a related field
- Good writing and communication skills
- Construction experience is preferred but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Subsurface exploration, boring inspection and insitu testing
- Foundation design
- Perform field testing and construction inspecting
- Foundation inspection for pile, pier and grouting
- Supervising laboratory testing for soils, concrete, geotextile and grout
- Perform field geophysical survey, GPR, electromagnetic, resistivity and seismic surveys
- Storm water management, dam break modeling and emergency action plan
- Project management and marketing
