Job Details:
My client is a very reputable MEP firm doing design and engineering of pharmaceutical and industrial type projects. As a Mechanical Engineer in the HVAC department, you will be responsible for performing field surveys, engineering load calculations, psychometric analysis, HVAC equipment selections, sizing pipe and duct distribution systems, cad drafting, electronic drawing preparation, specification preparation, submittal and shop drawing reviews, responses to RFI’s and punch list development for small and medium size projects. Conduct facility assessments, code studies for compliance and energy studies. Knowledgeable in Mechanical systems including chilled water plants, steam and hot water boiler plants, custom and semi-custom air handling unit design, direct expansion (DX) system design, pumps, duct and air distribution systems, piping systems, and DDC control systems. Proficient in AutoCAD or REVIT, computerized HVAC load calculation software, MS-Excel, and MS-Word.
