VMWare Virtualization Engineer (Multiple positions)
My client, a global leader is looking for a two vmware engineers.
VMware Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer
Key Role:
Provide infrastructure engineering support to build, operate, and maintain a private Cloud environment using key applications, including VMWare and Active Directory in a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 operating system environment on virtualized servers. Integrate servers, storage, and datacenter networking to ensure performance of the total system. Employ expertise in a variety of IT technical fields, including systems engineering, information assurance, configuration management, quality assurance, and information system specialties. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Interface with the project manager and technical team leads on a daily basis regarding project deliverables and status updates, develop and maintain technical documentation, and provide status briefings on all managed systems, as requested. Maintain full patch compliance and ensure functional capability of systems through testing prior to deployment. Work in coordination with operational staff to provide assistance to end users and customer program staff.

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with automation tools, including vRealize Automation or similar
-Experience with Perl and shell scripting
-Possession of excellent consulting, design, and solution delivery skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco Datacenter CCNA/CCNP, or related industry certifi Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with delivering IT enterprise solutions
-Experience with design or operations using the latest networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
-Experience with troubleshooting and resolving virtualization, datacenter, and networking issues
-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and workstation management, including Active Directory, DNS, and equivalent enterprise software functionality
-BA or BS degree
