Application Support Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
•Troubleshoot issues and participate in on-call support, ensuring stability and performance of the production environment
•Partner with application engineering teams to deliver agile, highly automated capabilities to monitor applications, infrastructure and service providers.
•Drive automation and software-defined approaches to reliability and availability and change management.
•Build automation to prevent problem recurrence; eventually automate response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
•Work closely with various groups to drive efficiencies.
•Work well in a fast paced, dynamic operations environment
•Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our development group and others to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
•Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
•Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
•Participation in providing training to customers as required
Preferred Education and Experience
•2 to 5 years in hands-on technical role
•BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Experience in one or more Languages : C#, SQL
•Experience with : MS-SQL Server, IIS
