Job Details:
We are a New York City Department of Buildings licensed concrete testing laboratory, class 1 special inspection agency, and commissioning authority.
We are currently seeking full time mechanical engineers to fill positions in our mechanical special inspections department, and commissioning department.
Duties Include:

Pre functional and functional testing of MEP infrastructure including chillers, boilers, emergency generators, pumps, air conditioning units, etc.

Provide onsite inspections of piping, insulation, firestopping, and startup of air conditioning and heating systems.

Ensure compliance with the approved design documents and approved shop drawings, and building codes.

Communicate with the contractor and design team to resolve nonconformance items.

Manage the inspection schedule to facilitate timely construction and completion of the scope of work.
