Job Details:
Seeking an Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing and processing machinery/equipment.
Job Duties:
- Design and implement a manufacturing environment for most efficient work flow
- Understand personnel and chain of command in each department
- Assist in personnel and production scheduling
- Help create the proper placement of equipment
- Assist in the design of manufacturing equipment
- Help source raw materials
- Reduce waste and downtime
- Make sure all hazardous materials are disposed of in a proper manor
- Help oversee quality assurance throughout the manufacturing operations
- Help implement Lean Manufacturing practices
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years experience working in an electronics manufacturing setting
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Strong people skills, with the ability to interact with various departments
- Experience and understanding of PLC's and automated machinery
- Solidworks experience a plus
- Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident
