Job Details:
Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead the Quality Department of fast past manufacturer in the capacity of Director.
Job Duties:
- Oversee and run the entire quality department
- Manage quality department personnel including Quality Managers, Quality Engineers & Quality Technicians
- Maintain ISO systems and make improvements as appropriate
- Make changes to quality program in order to improve overall product quality
- Create SOP and appropriate documentation & instructions
- Support and interact with the manufacturing department
- Quality audits
- Oversee supplier quality department
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience working in the Quality Department in a highly technical manufacturing setting, with at least 5 years experience in a managerial role
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in engineering or other technical discipline
- LEAN Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience - Black Belt preferred
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Work experience with various ISO systems associated with automotive manufacturing
- Strong communication skills
- Supervisory experience
- Very strong leadership skills
