Purchasing Manager
Business is off the charts at this heavy construction company that specializes in MTA heavy construction projects. We are looking for a top notch Purchasing Manager out of the heavy construction arena-MTA, terminals, highways, paving, roadways, etc. Position is full time/permanent with outstanding benefits.
Job Description and Duties:
- Bachelor of Science Degree a plus
- 2-5+ years experience in the heavy construction arena.
- Ability to forecast levels of demand for services and products.
- Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value.
- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
- Check the quality of service provided.
- Evaluating Bids and making recommendations based on client needs.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
