Director of Retail Supply Chain Consulting Support
My client is searching for a Director of Retail Supply Chain Consulting Support
Responsibilities
• Works with Client Leadership to plan long-term project resource requirements.
• Capable of facilitating (design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc).
• Defines success factors and identifies critical team goals and objectives.
• Defines the strategic direction for individual practice and helps senior leadership with rolling out strategic initiatives throughout the implementations services organization.
• Demonstrated experience presenting and interfacing with C-Level Executives.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in software sales, consulting, implementation or development project environment.
• Drive recommendations in support of salary/promotion process and holds discussions as necessary.
• Drives the teamwork necessary to resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Drives to deliver high quality implementations and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Ensures that associate(s) adhere to policies, procedures, methodologies and quality.
• Ensures that consultant development plans are being defined and executed on.
• Interacts with Client Solutions Support organizations to support issue resolution.
• Leads Internal Project Quality Review sessions.
• Leads strategic initiatives for implementation services organization.
• Manages utilization at the practice level (supply and demand matching).
• Owns infrastructure development for practice area including but not limited to the development of base project plans, best practices, and implementation aids.
• Promotes, builds, and maintains a sense of community.
• Provides an escalation point for delivery issues.
• Provides coaching, feedback and guidance to associates to ensure their successful contribution.
• Regularly assesses each teams’ readiness (skills, capacity, capability), developing appropriate action plans to ensure business success.
• Responsible for team’s achievement of revenue, expense and margin targets.
• Serves as an Engagement Manager for key accounts, as needed. Estimated at 15-20% of time.
• Skilled at leading and coordinating across diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.
• Supports Product Launch process for new products and versions.
• Supports the resource allocation processes.
Required Skills
• Minimum of 3-5 years proven leadership experience working as a Practice Director, Consulting Director, Consulting Manager, Engagement Manager, or similar management capacity.
• 3+ years of experience leading Project Managers in the software delivery cycle.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in software sales, consulting, implementation, or in a development project environment.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Industry
• Demonstrated experience presenting and interfacing with C-Level Executives.
• Skilled at leading and coordinating across diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.
• Capable of facilitating (design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc).
• Ability to manage up to 2-3 engagements of large strategic accounts.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor coach and train Associates.
• Excellent communication, client relationship and analytical skills.
• Well organized and consistently meets commitments.
• Flexible and promotes a teamwork environment.
• Travel required
