Geotechnical Engineer-Project Manager
Multi-disciplined engineering firm that is located in the Philadelphia suburbs has a hot need for a top notch Geotechnical Engineer. Please contact if you are a fit for this.
Job Duties & Qualifications:
* BS degree in Civil engineering with geotechnical concentration or related.
* PE in PA preferred
* 8-15 years of geotechnical exploration and construction related testing and inspection in earthwork, foundation, and construction materials.
* Can take a project from start to finish.
* Experience with shallow foundations, deep foundations, retaining walls, and ground improvement.
* Subsurface investigation including borings and test pits, reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans.
* Calculations of bearing capacity, settlement, earth pressures, pavement section design and slope stability.
* Experience with retaining wall design, pavement design, review of subsurface conditions and foundation design.
