Seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with a background in the MEP consulting world
Job Duties:
- Help with projects related to electrical design including lighting, power supply,etc.
- Design for assigned projects
- Create designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Visit client/construction sites
- Maintain deadlines
- Commute with other company departments as needed
- Generate written reports
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or training in Electrical Design
- 3+ years of work experience as an Electrical Designer
- Understanding of industry codes, standards and regulations
- Electrical design experience with commercial buildings
- Understanding of electrical construction
- Electrical design experience using AutoCAD, Revit and other drafting software
- Ability to travel to client/construction sites as needed
- Strong communication and people skills
- Strong organizational skills
