Warehouse Shipping Supervisor
A global manufacturer has an immediate need for a Shipping Supervisor at the Delaware plant to coordinates activities of workers responsible for picking product and preparing it for outbound shipments. Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, inventory control activities.
- Identifying work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
- Ensure correct shipment of orders.
- Assist employees with work process problems.
Qualified candidates must possess:
- 5-10 years of relevant warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Union environment experience is preferred.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
