Project Manager/Estimator- Highway Construction
Located in the Exton, Pennsylvania area, our client a well-established Heavy Civil/ Highway Construction Contractor is seeking, an experienced Project Manager/Estimator
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Manage multiple construction projects & DOT from bid stage through completion. Projects range in size from a few thousand to ~$3 million dollars.
- Visit multiple work sites to ensure project schedules are on target
- Ensure bids, estimates, budgets and jobs are timely
- Competitive and in accordance with company policies, guidelines and budgetary goals
Projects include:
- Guide & Guard Rail Systems
- Sound barriers
- Concrete Medians
- Highway signage (overhead signs, information, directional, aluminum, etc)
- Fencing /Gating for bridges, highways as well as commercial, institutional & industrial
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Project Manager and/or estimator in a heavy highway, heavy civil, highway contractor, bridge, utility or sitework contractor
- Experience in developing cost estimates and schedules
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- BA/BS degree is a plus
- Must possess strong communication skills written, electronic and verbal
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and related programs
