Infrastructure Project Manager
My client in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to project manage multiple medium to large infrastructure projects. The position is hands-on and customer-focused. You'll be deep in project details and requirements, challenged to look for efficiencies to meet aggressive timelines, and people-focused to drive results.
Key Qualifications
Track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure deployments
8+ years of program/project management
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
Problem and conflict solving abilities collaborating and influencing people across organization
Ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
Ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
Passion for effective processes and methodologies that will improve the productivity of the organization
Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)
Strong technical proficiency with emphasis on prior Network or Systems Engineer experience; networking, systems, DB and storage.
Description
Oversee all aspects of multiple, large-scale infrastructure projects including scope, requirements, timelines, risks, communications, and resource allocation Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, manage implementation, and drive delivery of projects. Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices. Adapt project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks
Education
BS degree in a technology area or equivalent experience.
PMP or Prince II
